Privacy Policy

Effective May 29, 2026

This Policy describes how COLLIDER VENTURES, LLC(“Collider Ventures,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use PeekaHoo.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your or your child’s content for advertising or for training machine-learning models.

Children’s privacy (COPPA)

PeekaHoo is designed for adults to use on behalf of their own minor children. Children do not create accounts and do not interact with our servers directly. The account holder — a parent or legal guardian — provides all information about the child (such as the child’s first name) and controls all content the child sees.

By creating an account and adding a child, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian (or have that parent’s permission) and you consent to our collection and use of the limited information about your child described below, solely to provide the PeekaHoo service to your family.

You can review or delete any information about your child at any time by emailing contact@colliderventures.com. We will respond within a reasonable period.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without parental consent, please contact us at the address above and we will delete it.

What we collect

From account holders (parents, guardians, and contributors who sign in):

  • Email address (for sign-in and notifications)
  • One-time sign-in codes you request
  • Push-notification subscriptions (only if you enable notifications on a device)
  • IP address and basic browser metadata (for security, abuse prevention, and diagnostics)

From content uploaded by contributors:

  • A profile photo (used as the contributor’s tile)
  • A short voice recording of the contributor’s name (optional)
  • Video messages addressed to specific children

About children (provided by the parent or guardian):

  • The child’s first name or nickname
  • Which contributors are linked to which child (so the right faces appear on the kid view)

We do not ask children to enter any information, and we do not collect persistent identifiers, geolocation, or other data from a child’s use of the kid view beyond what the parent’s account session already does for authentication and abuse prevention.

How we use it

  • To run the service — show the right tiles to your child, route videos to the right approval queue, deliver push notifications you opted into.
  • To send transactional email (sign-in codes, account notifications such as co-parent invitations).
  • To prevent abuse — rate-limiting unauthenticated endpoints, flagging suspicious patterns.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We don’t profile users, track you across other websites, or use your content to train AI models.

Who we share it with

We use the following service providers to operate PeekaHoo. They process data on our behalf under contractual obligations and may not use it for their own purposes:

  • Supabase — account database and authentication.
  • Cloudflare R2 — storage for photos, voice clips, and videos.
  • Vercel — web application hosting.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.

We may also share information when required by law, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Collider Ventures, our users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

How we keep it

Account information and uploaded content are retained while your account is active. When you request account deletion, we delete your account data within a reasonable period, subject to limited retention for backups, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored encrypted at rest by our infrastructure providers. We follow standard practices to protect against unauthorized access, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Your choices

  • You can edit or remove most of your information directly in the app.
  • You can opt out of push notifications at any time via your device or browser settings.
  • You can request a copy of your data, request corrections, or request deletion by emailing contact@colliderventures.com.

Account & data deletion

To delete your account and the data tied to it, email contact@colliderventures.com from the address associated with the account. We will confirm the request and then delete your account within a reasonable period.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will give reasonable notice by email or in the app. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
